Faulty Optic Drive and CD Mac Compatibility

The Optic CD drive is not ejecting the Disk; I finally got it out with the use of a flat metal object. The clock is working so It may not be a faulty PRAM battery, although I do have a spare one for this A 1247 Mac Mini, it is a BR2032, 3 V Button Battery.

The disk icon was not showing in the side bar, so I could not use the instillation disk and other disks could not be identified, ‘‘safari does not know which programme this disk was created on’’ was on the sheet page for these.

What can I do to rectify this ‘disk eject’ problem?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Icon has been changed to the correct machine.

The PRAM battery has nothing to do with this issue. Nor does Safari.
