Choosing the correct SSD for MacBookPro Retina Mid-2012

I have a MacBook Pro Retina (10,1) mid 2012 A1398 EMC2512 that came equipped with 256GB SSD . Running out of space and find the OWC and Transcend brands to be quite expensive. Which Samsung or any other reliable mainstream brand 1TB drive would be compatible with this model and what connector, case and other things will I need to install it?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Thank you but I already have a 250GB SSD which I need to replace with a 1GB SSD. I'm looking for brands other than OWC and Transcend.

If you click where it says 250GB SSD, there is and option to change it to a 1TB.
