One of the areas on the left is dented, I was wondering if and how I can get it fixed. I can’t take any photos right now, but these two from Google are exactly what mine looks like, exact spot too;
Should I buy a new top case? Where are the best sites/stores to buy from?

We use a small block of ebony wood and a jewelers hammer to take out this particular damage. Works very well.

Should the OP remove all of the internals before doing this? That method you suggested seems practical but destructive if not done properly...
Sure, you pull the internals. I've seen this exact bend many times and repaired it just as often. It's a weak point.

A new upper case would do the trick. However, a new upper case will cost you $118 (without tax and shipping costs). I am unsure of how to safely remove that warp without damaging the case further. Hopefully someone else will chime in and suggest a way to safely remove that warp.
