Is a SSD upgrade possible?

Apple doesn't offer an SSD-option for the smallest iMac version (1.119$).

But there is enough space for a SSD. There seems to be a third SATA-port on the logic board. Is there a power connector somewhere? And which cable do I need for adding a SSD?

Answer this question I have this problem too

You can always swap the original hard drive or the optical for an SSD.

And use an external optical drive... I've noticed that my external writes and reads much faster than the internal one on my 20" iMac.

According to the picture there's 3 mounting posts for the SDD. Would I need a mounting bracket? The SDD will just fit underneath the ODD so I'll have use of both?
