House mate using my PC

My PC have: ethernet wire unplugged and network adapter disabled.

Every time I turn-off or sleep my computer, pigpegger gets mad. Starts connect reconnect something, sometimes bashing socket, or starts walking for no reason, or goes to toilet to lock for up to 2 hours.

iPhone/iPad pigpegger using my computer resources (hardware, not OS), and I have concern that he uses my PC CPU/RAM/MOTHERBOARD for unknown intentions (it is not malware (I tried on 2 computers and 7/8/10).

Pigpegger has access to ISP socket, from that socket comes TV and internet.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

What is Pigpegger?

It sounds like some sort of App which is trying to check-in to its source for updates??

by

@danj Pig Pegger an embroidery machine applique design

by

@mayer - An App then! Which is looking for an embroidery machine to hookup with to do its thing or is it trying to check/download an update or register it self.

But, that would imply the app was running it shouldn't be doing this on its own.

Nor should it be communicating with an iPhone or iPad should it? Unless its the server part of the app which is running on the iPhone/iPad. So the iPhone/iPad is trying to talk to the PC here to then tell the embroidery machine what to do. So then the issue is the iPhone or iPad is running the app which is the source!

@oldturkey03 - Yes, reading in-between the lines on this one ;-}

Was thinking it was someone with very poor English. Sometimes you just don't know. Do you have some ideas?

I would call your ISP and turn off your internet service, and leave it off for a while, to see what the house mate's reaction is. If the house mate harasses you about this, then it's time to get a new house mate.
