New Battery shutting down at 14%

I just installed a new battery received from IFIXIT and it's shutting off (it seems that way) without any warning at around 14% and all work in progress gets lost. I tried everything including SMC and PRAM reset but the macbook stopped going into hibernation mode.. and gives no battery low warning... Is this battery fine or am i missing something? Thanks...

Let's take a look at it with better diagnostic tools. Please download, install and run Coconut Battery and post your results.

Well the battery looks just fine and is charged to 99%. A SMC reset should have cleared your issue up. Take a look at this and see if it was done correctly: http://osxdaily.com/2010/03/24/when-and-...

The smc reset offered no help at all. The system still not hibernating. Shuts down suddenly without saving ongoing work.
