Had this same issue with my daughter’s tablet. When you swipe down from the top of the screen to bring down the settings menu or to switch profiles, etc. In between the icons for Airplane mode and Low Battery mode, there is a picture of someone laying in bed. If this is highlighted, simply press this and it will turn off “Night Mode” and get rid of the yellow/orange color on the screen!

OMG! Thank you! I was checking all of my settings, the blue light mode, everything and couldn't figure it out. This was it. Thank you for explaining it and helping me find the issue. I think I love you........

Make sure that there is no "nightlight" screen function/setting.

On most devices there is a color function to make the screen warmer, and easier to look at for longer periods of time.

I agree with Blaiden. Follow the instructions on this link to turn off "Blue Shade":

On Windows 10, you can check if color filters are turned on by pressing the Windows key + Ctrl + C. If color filters are turned on, you can turn them off by pressing the same key combination again.

If you have a graphics card from Nvidia, AMD or Intel, you may also want to check the color settings in your graphics card control panel.
