No power button response

I have a 13" late 2011 MBP that won't turn on, no reaction to the power button at all. I don't know the history. The magsafe is bright green, never orange even after a SMC reset. At first plug in I can get a single battery led to blink but after a bit they all blink 5 times when I press the battery button. I tried with the battery disconnected as well as all the combinations of battery/hold power button/magsafe connection. I also have a similar 15" with similar deadness. Does anyone have the uber-deep knowledge on this?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Disconnect the battery from the logic board. Disconnect the mag-safe. Press and hold the power button for ten seconds. Reconnect the battery and mag-safe and you should get a spontaneous reboot on a machine with a working logic board. We can then run further trouble shooting.

I've tried that. No response.

Have you tried shorting the jumper points to get a response?

I don't know which ones they are and really didn't think to get there because of the magsafe light and battery light issues being a red flag. Any idea which ones are the power button?

I had this on the shelf and want to get back to it.

I have tried everything I can think of. The battery is charged. On suggestion, I tried leaving it without magsafe and battery for a while, then plugged in the magsafe which should cause it to boot on it’s own. No Joy

Any other suggestions? Seems like a logic board but I’m open to any other diagnostics
