Fixing an LG Dishwasher LE error code

My dishwasher stopped working when it started giving me an OE error code. Turned out to be a bad drain pump, which Ive replaced. After replacing the drain pump, I now get an LE error code. I wasn't getting this before. I understand the LE error code is associated with the water pump not working, but I find it hard to believe that the pump just failed at the same time as the drain pump. Is there something I could've messed up while replacing the drain pump that would cause this? When I start a Rinse cycle, I hear the dishwasher go through a drain cycle first, then the fill valve opens and I hear it fill with water. When it's time for the water pump to kick on, I just hear kind of a "Egh" noise a couple times, before it throws the code, almost as if the impeller is stuck or something.

I noticed a couple screws were stripped that screw the top piece (filter part) into the whole sump assembly. Besides that, couldnt find anything else.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

An LG Dishwasher that displays the OE error indicates a DRAIN ISSUE. This means when the LG dishwasher gets to the time for it to drain out water, it is not draining correctly or cannot drain. This is caused by a CLOGGED DRAIN HOSE or a CLOGGED OR FAULTY DRAIN PUMP.

UPDATE

The LE error code on the LG dishwasher display is an indication of a MOTOR ERROR. The 5 issues that may cause this fault code is a wiring problem (most common reason for LE error), the impeller of washing pump is locked, the rotor of washing motor is locked, the blade is locked, or the PCB main control board is faulty.

OE was the original code that I fixed, but in doing so, somehow caused the LE code that Im getting now.

do you have any information for fixing the problems you mention above? we tried turning off the circuit breaker for 10 seconds and turning it back on, but that didn't help

I guess I got lucky and used my Hi Tech Skills when I got the LE message. Just now, this minute. I unplugged the machine, waited 30 seconds then plugged it back in. Worked like a charm 😂

All those years of calling internet providers to reset my modem has paid off
