Optical drive bracket restricting disk insertion

I removed the optical drive to replace hinges and when I put it back in place and closed it up it runs repetively like it is trying to read or find something and when I tried to insert a disk there was something blocking the opening. So I disassembled and removed the drive to see a lever blocking the opening of the drive. I can't get the lever to move out of the way when I place it in location. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Put a screw in the wrong place.

On the left lower side bracket (as you look into the drive) there's two holes, one near the slot one farther back. You put a screw in the near hole, should be in the far one.

Remove and move the screw.

Good Luck,

N.

Thanks. What size screws are suppose to be put here? There are too many screws and I know I got some mixed up. Thank you.
