replaced the HDD with an SSD and broke the fan

So my Mac Mini Mid 2011 has no temp sensor for the HD. I recently replaced the HDD with an SSD and in the process broke the fan...so I got the replacement (a 610-0069) and as soon as I press the power button the fan comes on full blast. I even tried to use fan control applications which sees the speed its running at but can't turn it down. Any ideas?

Answer this question I have this problem too

I would recommend you install an app that allows you to see more fully the status of the different sensors in your system. Install: TG Pro. Do make sure you've removed your other temp control app so TG Pro is not confused. Take a screenshot of the main window so we can see the different sensors and paste it here for us to see as well.
