Pro Tech Driver wobbly bits

Quick question about the screwdriver and the bits: Are the bits supposed to be wobbly and loose when attached to the driver? They stay in the coupling just fine but have a lot of side to side play. Is this normal/by design? If so, why was the driver designed this way?

Thanks in advance~

There's a little play but not wobbly. Can you give a link to exactly which driver you got (they have changed over the years).

Thanks for the response Mayer! I believe this is the new 2016 version, it came with the recent Fix the World special.

I just tested mine and there is little play in it but I would consider it wobbly. Take a look in the driver hole and see if the might be something in there (like a tiny screw) that would prevent the bit from fully seating.

Looks clear, just the barrel and the magnet. Are you able to roll the bits around in yours, making a light clicking sound? I realize that "wobbly is a pretty subject term so my apologies XD

I can turn it just a hair. There is certainly not enough play to make it click. iFixit does give you a lifetime warranty on it if you feel it is defective, they will be happy to replace it.
