Iron not powering on

My Iron is plugged in and is still not powering on or heating up, could the cord be broken?

Have you tried a different plug? Or maybe the iron needs more water.

This Happens sometime, If you forgot to switch off your iron it get over heated and may melt the wire of circuits of the iron.  I have gone through it, Do check your Wires properly. Also check the power wire fwether it get burned out or not.  You may need to replace whole wire.
