How to retrieve pictures on broken MacBook air

i had a macbook air for a while and then one day it just stopped working completely. It will only show the logo and doesnt charge. we have tried everything, we brought it to the apple store and they said there was nothing they could do. I have a macbook pro now and i got it in 2016 it's a 13 inch i think. is there anyway i can get the pictures from the air and put it on the pro?

Yes! You can salvage your stuff. What you'll need to do is remove the SSD drive from the system and install it into a special case. Here's the IFIXIT guide to get the SSD out: MacBook Air 13" Early 2014 Solid-State Drive Replacement

Here is the case you'll need: OWC Envoy Pro Portable, Bus-Powered USB 3.0 Enclosure - For Apple Flash SSDs (June 2013-Current Mac Models). You might want to look on eBay as I'm sure you'll find a used one there as once people use them to salvage there stuff they often sell them.
