Does anyone know how to download previously purchased music from itunes into my new computer? They were lost when I got rid of my old computer, but they show up as PURCHASED in itunes so I can't even buy them again.

Yes, there is a way. When I purchased a New Mac I was able to redownload all of my music, TV shows, and videos from iTunes. My old hard drive had crashed. What you have to do is contact Apple and they will grant you a re-download of all purchases. I have done this twice and Apple was nice enough to grant me this option. Just give them a call. AND BACKUP. BACKUP. BACKUP.

You can't but since you have bought it in the past you can get it from p2p networks and it will not be pirating since you have previously bought the music.
