Hi
So about 3 weeks ago I noticed my Mac shutting off and crashing with yellow horizontal lines and very blurry apple logo upon REGULAR boot... however when i boot into recovery or boot into any other form except Mac osx it works perfectly. I looked online and found that it could be a "Panic kernel" what im trying to find out is if my Logic board is bad or if its just software...
Is this a good question?

If it's working OK in Safe Mode, but not in regular mode, it's software issues. First thing I would do is install and run a good "Paid For" anti-virus program like Symantecs' Endpoint Protection.

Would avast antivirus work instead? its free and still picks up viruses pretty well. https://www.avast.com/en-us/index
