PPDCIN_G3H at lower voltage

Hi Everyone

I have a board 820-00165-A

The PPDCIN_G3H should be at 18.5 V , but it is at 14.90

I see that PPDCIN_G3H comes from J700, which is the conector to the I/O Board.

What would be the next step on this issue?

Answer this question I have this problem too

First of all, Is it powering on? If PPBUS_G3H is at 8.56 I wouldn't worry about it and I'd look elsewhere. Try a new DC in board and a KNOWN GOOD charger and it should be set. If it is still at 14.65 we can go from there but I don't think this is an issue.

PPBUS_G3H is in 8.58 so I would say it is within the range.

And the charger is proven to work Ok.

PPBUS is fine. 8.58 is perfect. Does the system power on?

by

No, and not even the fan

BTW I forgot to add that I have not tried switching the DC board.

I'm from a place where I have to wait at least a week to get the replacements. Should I go ahead an order it?

DC IN board is fine if it has PPBUS. U1900 area? PPvRtc_g3h present? PM_SLP_S4 present?

by

PPVRTC_G3H is at 3.42 schematics says it should be at 3. I'm not sure if that is within the range.

PM_SLP_S4 I measure no voltage if that's what present means
