Help,I don't know what happen photos disappeared from my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus,is there any virus attacks my phone?I want to know how to retrieve lost photos from Galaxy S8?Thank you.

Were your photos stored on an SD card, internal storage, or the cloud?

I just had this issue with my new Galaxy 8 Plus phone. Randomly 700+ photos deleted. I have no idea if it was my kids or a malfunction with a system update. I unfortunately had not backed it up on anything. I tried the link people referred to from the galaxy 7 and id did not work for me. A free app from Play Store worked in less than 5 minutes! App name "Recover Photos" from Kh designers. I had to scroll through a ton, and then there they all were near the bottom!! When I clicked all to recover the app crashed. Disappointed I restarted my phone, clicked on my Gallery and there was a new picture folder named "MVRECOVERPHOTOS" inside were all my full size photos. I immediately uploaded to Shuttterfly and google Drive to back up. all is good!
