Trackpad and Keyboard unresponsive

Hi

My trackpad and Keyboard on my MacBook pro are not working. When I did an smc reset the adapter changed colors, so I am guessing this is a software issue. I also tried a pram reset.

Are you able to hookup a USB keyboard & mouse to your system? I you can are they working?

Open it up and see if the battery is swollen. Has anything else happened to it like liquid damage or a drop?
