Can someone help me identify this piece so I can replace it?

Images in both links, please view (they both work). On the second image is the piece that connects to it that has somehow become disconnected from the device. I included a photo with it, in hopes that what is written on the cable would help identify it. I notice now that my apps are slow to open if not at all.

Ahh yes, that does seem to be what it is. Now my physical home button hasn't worked for some time. I use the on screen one instead. Could this connector affect the function of the phone that are not the physical home button?
