Replaced 17'' MacBook Pro screen, doesn't work

I damaged half the screen of my 17'' MacBook Pro when water was spilt on the keyboard. The keyboard and top half of the screen functioned normally for months. Finally, I bought a replacement screen and followed the directions on how to replace it. When I was finished and turned it on, I saw the normal grey apple start up screen but shortly after, the screen was pixilated with a blur of colors. I don't have access to an external display. I attached some pictures. I am wondering if this is fixable. Thanks for the feedback!

Did you ever clean the board, remove and clean under it?

If not you probably have corrosion on the board or connectors. Look at it. Try cleaning the board with an electrical contact cleaner & tooth brush - followed by 91% alcohol.

LET DRY TWO DAYS.

reassemble.

Good Luck,

N.

Well doesn't look like your pictures made it, but I'd suggest you open it up and check if you left anything loose, particularly the inverter cable.
