SSD upgrade from 256GB to 512GB

I am trying to upgrade SSD (currently 256GB) to 512 GB in my Macbook Air 2013 13".

The right part number is Samsung MZ-JPU512T/0A2 which costs about 380.00 dollars on eBay. However, Some people say Samsung MZ-JPU512T/0A2 is interchangeable with Samsung MZ-JPU512T/A06 for Macbook pro Retina 2013-2015, which costs less (about 200-350 USD on ebay).

Does anyone know the compatibility?

Do not try to adapt an M2 blade into a Mac. They may work and may not, but they are not reliable.

Use either an original Apple or an OWC. Here are the OWC options for your model:

The Samsung MZ-JPU512T/A06 works just fine in my mid-2013 MacBook Pro Retina.
