iPhone 4 Teardown

Follow the first guide on how to deal with the damage and the second guide on how to take it apart. If that doesn't work, just get a new phone. The iPhone 4 is getting old and slow and its considered obsolete.

If you want an android (which i think is better, but that's just my opinion) and want a bigger phone, the S6 is getting very cheap and the S7 and starting to get cheaper too.

If you want an iPhone, the 5s is still a great option if you want a smaller phone as they are around $200

Otherwise the iPhone 6 is a cheaper option as well if your ok with getting a larger, newer phone.

The iPhone SE is also a good option if you want a smaller phone and can spend the money on it.

Please post back once you have tried it and figured out if it worked!

So it's going to be cheaper (likely) to fix. However iPhone 4 is a reasonably old phone. Would it be worth it to you, to get a new phone? If you want to repair it, you'll need to treat the logic board for water damage.

Especially considering it was water damaged and left on for days. It's likely going to need more work. Probably an ultrasonic bath, which the shields will need to be removed, maybe even microsoldering
