@yumi , Yumi , Yes the SD card reader is replaceable, You should first check it and clean/blow off dust/etc. then clean contacts with a Qtip dampened with Isopropyl Alcohol, then reseat to make good connection and try. Also look for any damaged contacts that you may be able to straighten carefully with a tooth pic. If you can try a few different compatible SD cards to rule out bad SD card also. Below I will post a link showing how to remove the SD card and a link to a replacement part if needed, which you can also do a search for to get better pricing perhaps. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

firstly thanks a lot for your response,

i tried simply to clean it as you said but i didnt see any part who were really damaged, unless maybe the ribbon cable, i might have moved it a little by removing the sd card reader the first time, i shouldnt have tried to open it myself..

i dont have any Isopropyl Alcohol but i'll try if i can buy some,

anyway, thanks for your help, and excuse my bad english level, that's not my mother tongue-

Yumi , Thanks for replying back, you will want 90% or higher Isopropyl Alcohol found at big box stores or any drug store as it will not damage electronics. Worse comes to worse, you may have to replace the part. Good luck with your 3DS.
