Boot Loop and Power button unfonctional

My IPhone 5 died one night and I haven't been able to turn it on since. Every time I plug it in the apple logo comes up but then turns off and then back on etc... Also my power button is broken so I can't do a hard reset like most people. I have done a lot of research but I have not come across anything that has the same problem as my phone.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi there

Sounds to me like the battery has come to the end of its life. An easy way to test this is to unhook the battery and plug in the lightning cable. If the phone starts normally then the battery needs to be replaced

This guide will show you how to deal with the battery

Once you know if this is the problem you can order the replacement kit here.

The repair of the power button is also an option, but it is a much more challenging repair and not one I would recommend unless you have experience. You can see for yourself with this guide.

Replace a 1440 mAh battery compatible with iPhone 5. 3.8 Volts (V), 5.45 Watt Hours (Wh). Does not require soldering. Compatible with all iPhone 5 models. Image
