erratic display

my display is fuzzy and i cant make out anything on the screen

i have replaced the lcd but the problem is still there

Check to make sure your cables (such as The LVDS Cable) are well connected.

First, connect the PB to an external monitor and tell us if you get normal video.

He says he replaced the LCD already, that's almost the same as connection to an external.

Connecting to an external is the best way to know if the problem is a logic board (GPU) issue. We don't know yet if he replaced only the LCD panel or the whole display assembly with known working cables so yes the LVDS cable could also be the problem if he used the old LVDS cable.
