What does CHA mean?

In the LCD screen I get a CHA message. Any one know what this means?

try the nikon website for your country and go to support page-you haven't put the camera model in your question. you can download the guide for camera, contact directly or search their FAQ section.

CHA generally means there is a error reading your flash memory.

When you got format your memory card, do it inside your camera and not the PC, that way you choose the format that is the most native to your camera.

Small switch on card basically turns it on or off. Keeps card from being erased. CHA will vanish.
