How do I install Leopard Family to iBook G4 12" 800 MHz?

I have a Imac with leopard 10.5.8.I also have a Ibook G4 800 Mhz 12 inch.I have purchased leopard Family 10.5 How can I install this to my Ibook G4? I have upgraded my HD to 160g

also have 1.25 of ram.

There is no difference in the single user 10.5 Leopard and the Family version. If you haven't opened it, take it back and get the single user version. You don't have the CPU requirement (866 MHz) to install on the 800 MHz iBook. You can clone the 10.5.8 iMac hard drive by using Target Mode and connecting the two via a firewire cable, Then use Super Duper to clone the drive. You can first move any data from the iBook to the iMac that you want to save as Super D. will want to erase the iBooks hard drive. SuperDuper is free: http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper/S...

Or, you can try LeopardAssist. No need for cloning anything. I tried that when trying to install Leopard on a friend's iMac G4 800 MHz. LeopardAssist at MacUpdate Just reset the PRAM after install. Hope this helps.

I toke your advise and went to http://mac-free.com/download/LeopardAssi... and downloaded leopard assist and installed leopard 10.5 and with updates I am at 10.5.8 on my ibook 800 laptop without a hitch.Runs great with no! problems,thank you Wayne B
