Home button issues after screen replacement

Hi, I removed a broken screen, I removed the HOME button as described in the repair guide. The issue I have now is the home button cable connector. Where do I connect this on an ifixit screen? There does not seem to be a connector for it on the new screen.

Did you transfer the back Metal plate that has the home button extension cable on it?

Some replacement screens do not come with the metal plate with home button extension cable depending on if you bought the 'full assembly' or just the screen.

Edit: This was the solution.

That worked. Thank you so much.

Ben answered your question I do believe....you might want to give him the credit he deserves. It gets overlooked often and I'm sure you didn't mean to, but the board would work better if everyone would give good questions a Yes vote, and label helpful and correct answers as such.

I usually post comments for quick questions next time I'll post it as answer.

@benjamen50 I often change Ben's comments to answers (about once a day). As to voting,, almost no one does. @oldturkey03 and I probably cast more than half of all the votes.

@theboardrider thank you for pointing this out. Let's take care of each other....

Thanks all! I never even thought that I need to make sure I "answer," instead of "comment!" But that makes sense...

One evening I was going through and answering unanswered questions...and giving all the good one's a vote for being a "good question," trying to be a good board contributor ;).

I then noticed as people were replying to my comments, nobody was giving me or my answers any credit! Even when I'd just given their question credit, and it seems that my answer had helped. I was pretty frustrated by this, not mad, but frustrated. People should slow down and try to give each other credit where deserved.
