Laptop fell in a river

It comes on but seems there's still water in the screen please I need urgent help.........how do I go about it

Its an old macbook pro 15 inch 2.2 gig dual core 2007 version tried to dry it up its 4 days now but I can still see water in the screen ....although it come on when I switch it on......just water in the screen don't know what to do about it

Henry water damage is usually the beginning of the end . Even though you have it working now it is only likely to work for a while unless you take the laptop apart and clean it thoroughly using IP alcohol of 90+% the higher the better use a soft tooth brush to clean all connections and the logic board . If you don't it will only be a matter of time before the logic board begins to corrode and as it does it will begin to shot itself out. As for the screen short of replacing it you can try putting it in a desiccant of some sort and no rice does not work, silica gel does to some degree. but the screen may still need to be replaced . It may be a good idea to back up any data you may want from the laptop as water damaged hard drives are difficult to regain lost data from so if its working now get that info off it before it corrodes to the point you cannot retrieve your data.
