How do I reset the camera if the battery died completely?

The battery on my Macbook pro 13" died completely, and afterward, I get no video in skype, etc. I'd been told that this might happen if the battery died, but how do I fix it now that it is fully charged?

Options

Reset the PRAM. Start up holding down the Option- Command & P & R keys. Wait till it tones three times. Then either reset the Date and time in the system preferences or hook up to an internet connection and it may update automatically.

Options

If you have your installation disk set use the hardware test utility test feature thats on one of those disk. Run that utility and let it see if it finds your camera. If not, then you may have a defective camera itself.
