How many fans are there? Why does battery get over heated?

Coconut Battery gives me a warning that my battery temperature is high (I set it at 35C). What is the safe range of temperatures for this mac?

35c is normal, you can have places hotter tha 35c.

You can set the alarm above 50c

I would start off using a different tool here. Get this: TG Pro for less than $20 US its worth it.

Your battery temp should only be running high when its under charge or have a heavy process running. Using TG Pro you'll get a better view on whats happening in your system. I would also be watching Activity Monitor in your Utilities folder to see what processes are running on your system do you have a rogue app running up the processes?
