All locations of the serial number

Hi. I would like to know all the location of the serial number for this model. I know it is present on the back cover and on the logic board (on top of the RAM slot) as well. Can it be found elsewhere in the hardware?

Give me a valid reason for you to know where they all are.

I have two of these macbooks. One of them had the GPU fault that these Macs have, which is covered by Apple´s Replacement program. To verify this I switched the Logic Boards and installed the working logic board in the faulty mac. It worked ok. And now I have to travel to a neighbour country to take them to repair because Apple has no official service here. To avoid changing back the logic boards, which takes a lot of time for me and I don´t have the propper tools I would like to know if there is any other place where the service provider can verify that the Logic board does not belong to that computer, except for the back cover which I already reaplced.

Thanks

Hi, If you do know this I would really appreciate it if you could help, since I will be traveling tomorrow to get the computer repaired. Thanks.

Sorry I won't help you. I will tell you this, that serial number is on the EFI chip on the logic board and will come up when they run the test.

Can you please tell me what would be the next step after this issue? I have the Logic Boards Switched and the computers work fine, but the GPU is dead. I need to repair them, Apple has support until the end of this year for this issue.

Hi. thanks for that. That would not be an issue, What I really need to know if the SN is printed in the body elsewhere. I switched the logic boards of two identical MBP bought together, and if the SN is printed in another part of the body apart from the back cover then it will not match with the serial number printed on the motherboard or on the EFI chip.
