monitor replacement screen is larger then iBook

Please help

Purchased on Ebay a replacement screen for an Apple ibook manufactured in 2001. Ebay advertised a used screen as a 12" ibook monitor. I purchased it & received it UPS today. Unfortunately upon opening the replacement screen it is larger then the original monitor. Can I still have a professional attach it?

looks like I have a 10.5" monitor and ordered a 12" without properly measuring. Do you know where I can find that smaller size? Thanks

Please look on the back and find the Axxx number. Also look in the battery compartment for specific speed. Thanks
