Forward facing camera not working

I had my screen replaced and then my forward facing camera didn't want to work so they replaced it. Still doesn't work. Do I need to restore? Also will restoring clear everything off my phone? Kind of a novice when it comes to tech stuff.

Thanks

Well first make sure to backup the phone. So you can restore it after wiping. Either iCloud or iTunes will work. You should double check your connections first, to rule that out

So back up, then restore from back up? Or?

Yes, back up. Then restore to the backup

Like iMedic said make sure you back up everything to either iCloud or iTunes, then once you restore the phone it'll ask how you'd like to set up your iPhone, then you'll just select back up from (iTunes or iCloud)
