Why doesnt iTunes let me restore

Hey guys

I recently replaced my iPhone 5's back housing and front panel assembly. The procedure went well, the phone was working after it and everything was fine except for the past couple of weeks I experienced weird battery drains compared to the another iPhone 5 I have laying around (mine could only hold 19hours of standby in airplane mode...).

I read some stuff online and I thought a restore can fix the problem; maybe I have an app running in the background or something.

The restore always stops at Restoring iPhone firmware... then finishes saying that the restore could not be completed error(-1).

Now my phone is not working.... Any suggestions what can be the cause of the problem or what does error(-1) mean? Any way how to fix it?

Note: I replaced the lightning port/speaker/jack assembly, and the battery as well still error -1 plus my front camera never worked, but I could restore the device before and still had this issue.

Error -1 means dead baseband, either due to a power failure or the chip has actually been damaged.
