Identify some resistor values

Hello,

I am an ex-lurker, sub-genius type person who is trying to repair a MBP that appears to have a few problems,

one of which is that there is no light on the magsafe connector.

I do have Board View and schematic files for the motherboard which is an

A1286 - EMC 2253 - 820-2850-a - K18.

I am going through the G3 Hot circuit diagnosing the components but I notice that my schematic PDF (pg. 64) does not specify the resistances for some of the resistors.

For example R6990, R6992 and R6993 are specified as

'''5%

MF-LF

1/16W

402'''

This gives me a lot of useful information, but no Ohm value to measure.

I have looked at the schematics for other MBP boards, some have the Ohms, but the circuits are different and include diodes.

Could someone please help me with the resistance values for these components?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Thank you for the reply.

The components in question are tiny surface mount 0402 units that don't have room for colour codes.

Values are specified right above each resistor symbol.

R6990 is 1 Ohm

R6992 is 0 Ohm

R6993 is 0 Ohm

Thanks for the reply,

I did see the 1 and 0 on the schematic,

but I did not trust them since no unit of resistance such as Ohm or KiloOhm is specified.

All the other resistors do have a unit specified.

People on another forum have said the same as you, so it seems to be the consensus.

Really 0 ohm, never seen that before most resistors "resist" even a little. Like .0001 ohms which is not 0 ohms.
