I`m looking for the power pads

Hello,

What about MBA 2015 Logic Board # 820-3437-B please?

I`m not able to power it on because of the liquid damage and now I`m looking for the power pads as well.

Thanks for help

@iphix this answer is not to diagnose the faults on your board but to strictly point out where the "power pads" are located. Make sure that you diagnose your board properly first, clean it and check for short circuits etc.

Thank you a lot for answering, I`m facing same issue now with another macbook pro 2012 and it`s charging normally but it doesn`t start, I sure there is a specific component that can be burned once the keyboard gets the liquid damage. This component is what I`m still looking for to find it.

Justin, any component can fail from water damage. You will not find a specific part until you ask very specific questions. Post some good images of your board with your question. May be somebody can see something....Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that.

Hi oldturkey03

I found the answer for my question

the component which I have to start testing when I get a liquid damaged macbook is the fuse!!!

It`s shown in the picture in white color,

To test it, you need to connect the power to the LB and test both sides of the fuse, you`ll get 12.56 volt if it`s working. If no voltage there, means you need to replace the fuse.
