iPhone 6 Not charging only showing 0.6v on contacts

Hi,

My iPhone 6 was dead so i replaced the charging port and battery, the phone now powers on when i plug in a charger but will not charge.

i am only getting 0.6v when charger plugged in.

Any help is grateful.

Thank you for your reply, i have been using a non apple charger.

I will go ahead and replace the U2 chip then.

I would agree with Ben, as long as you've ruled out bad part on the charge port, then I would think Tristar chip (U2 chip) has been damaged by non-Apple chargers. Solution is to have this chip replaced by microsoldering

Have you been using car chargers by any chance? It's quite possible that the charging IC could have been burnt and needs to be replaced.
