Sometimes my MacBook Air does not turn on, why?

Just recently, when I press the power button nothing happens. No sounds, chirps, or lights.

I attempt to hold down the power button for 10sec but nothing.

I connect to the charger, and the light turns yellow or green as normal, depending on the charge. But when I press the power button: no sounds, chirps, or lights.

After awhile, I press the power button and the mac will turn on normally after I press the power button.

I bought this mac in Jan, brand new.

It's under warranty, take it back and get it fixed for free. Also, I always take out extended protection on any product I buy that I start having problems with in the first year. Think about an additional 2 years of warranty using AppleCare.

Thank you, sir. I will do that. I do have the extended warranty, I need this computer to last until I get my degree, at least!
