My screen is frozen. How do I fix it?

My screen is completely frozen. I can see everything, but it doesn't respond to touch.

Perform a hard reset by holding the Home and Sleep/WAke button down simultaneously till the phone powers off and reboots....dont let go of the buttons till u see the Apple Symbol. This has happened to me several times since the 4.0 update.
