replacement touchid sensor remove

hi, i want to know if it is true that if before replacing the touchid you delete the fingerprint the touchid you delete the fingerprint saved and later replaces the touch sensor works perfectl running and saving a new imprint

@icenter no it does not. The touch ID sensor is uniquely paired with the CPU. If you do not have the original sensor, it will not work and you are running risk of bricking your phone with an error 53. For more info check the answer by Sam Lionheart iTunes Error 53 - Please help!
