How can I fix my bent ipone 6 plus?

The iPhone doesn't read anything i press on the screen. I took it to an expert to take a look at it, and apparently the iphone has a bent motherboard. every time i want to use it I literally need to slightly bend it for it to read my fingers. Can this be fixed by replacing the rear case? any other suggestions to fix this problem?

The motherboard bending is not a problem. You can flex those boards a ton and they will still work as promised. What happens is that the Touch IC gets fried in a lot of these cases. Straightening the board only helps it to look better. The Touch IC is still fried and needs to be replaced in order for touch to be recognized again.

Once you get that fixed, you don't have to replace the housing. Its aluminum, you just bend it back into shape. Most of the time you don't even need any tools to do so. If you want, there are tools just for this purpose.

Again, its a chip on your motherboard that is broken. The bend caused it but the bend is not the problem.

Well it's very possible that while "bending" your logic board, it could break. I'm guessing that's why they didn't want to do it. You can try, at your own risk. It might be more advantageous of you to buy a new housing, put he logic board in there, then gently secure your logic board to the new frame with the screws. Be careful while doing this and go slow

Here's a tear down guide. They're pretty helpful, but sometimes they miss a step. So double check your work, while you're doing it

Did replacing the housing fix the issue? My phone just started to have the same issue.

Tom's right. The housing is cheaply made aluminum. You can bend the housing back, but the touch IC on the board needs to be replaced. It's a pretty complicated repair...

The solder joints under the chips may have cracked, just using a new case may not work, you may need to use splints to press the chips or reflow the board.
