No backlight in keyboard

Mac from the title, no backlight in keyboard. I've checked settings, reset smc, the F5 and F6 is indicating the activity when pushed but the lights are not turning on.

The connector for keyboard and lights are the same?

It's under warranty take it in. On any machine I start to have problems with in the first year I go ahead and get the extended warranty. This can be done to add two years of warranty if it is still under warranty.
