I installed that very drive in my A1260 a couple weeks ago and it works great. Although I haven't really noticed much of a performance boost from the SSD part of the drive; but that's probably because I use a whole bunch of random different things during the day and don't reboot very often. Still, a great drive so far. Good luck!
