Need confirmation on parts to convert MacBook 2.0 to 2.4 logicboard

MacBook A1181 Core 2 Duo

So after some research I can't seem to get an exact answer on this and there seems to be conflicting information. I have an A1181 with a 2.0 ghz logicboard. Identifying info would be T2500, 2213-A, 4 wall, core 2 duo, energystar. My computer has been slowing down considerably the last year and has been having some problems. Signs point to a failing processor. So I decided to upgrade my logic board to the 2.4 ghz, T8300, 2279-A, 3 wall, core 2 duo, energystar. From what I'm reading I need to replace the bottom case, heatsink, fan, speakers, and backlight inverter cable. What I don't have confirmed is replacing the bluetooth cable, possible the superdrive/optical drive because mine is IDE and I believe I need a SATA, as well as do I need a new hard drive. Any advice is appreciated.

You are planning to upgrade to a 2008 logic board. A complete 2010 2.4 GHz can be had on eBay for about $200. What is your budget on this upgrade? Your machine is worth about $80 as it sits.

As long as I don't need the hard drive or optical drive I can get the required parts for under 100. I have a feeling that I need at least the optical drive though.
