powercord gets red color doesn't change to green and doesn't power the computer and white part that goes to connect with the titanium part on the side of the computer gets very hot

Most likely is a failure of your DC-IN port, Apple part # 922-5460. iFixit has this part: [linked product missing or disabled: IF133-010]

I am sorry I ID my computer wrong it is a PowerBook G4 Aluminum 15" 1.67 GHz, do I need a G4 Aluminum 15" 1.67 GHz DC & Sound Card correct?
