Error 53 + Error 6 During Update

I have an IPhone 6 and it was dropped and cracked, the glass shattered around the home button and eventually fell out, Leaving the homebutton only hanging on by the ribbon. I was pulling my home button out of my pocket one time and the home button ripped off the cable and was gone forever. It worked but when IOS9 came out i tried to update it and received error 53 . Is there any fix? I tried reseting i and got error 6 i think. I've read around and heared its touch ID but i don't know of any fixes.

Not possible to fix whatsoever unless you send it in to Apple.

Maybe not even then

I just had my first run in with this error 53. We completed the screen repair a few months ago and he has had no issues with the device since then until the update to 9.1. We tried a few things first like DFU and recovery and RECBoot.

Here is what fixed it for me: We clipped in a new home button flex cable with the original home button and the replacement screen. We did the restore again and it worked! Took out the home button flex cable from back plate and reinstalled the screen and it is problem solved.

Hope this helps you too.

Chai, question for you. iPhone 6 broken screen and missing home button. Phones logicboard is wiped clean and ready to use and unlocked for any carrier it just needs a screen replacement to turn on. How do I go about fixing this phone and avoiding that error 53?

Don't update to new iOS. That's how people get into these situations

So just put the entire phone together. New home button new ribbon cable that connects the home button. Turn on phone and all should be fine? As long as I don't restore the iPhone after I turn it on. Thanks.
