There are several good programs like Spybot search and destroy , Malwaresbytes ,to remove spyware and malware ,once installed and updated you can run them in safe-mode for best results. The best way however to completely remove a virus is to reformat your computer remember to save and back up all important info before attempting to reformat

What's the issue exactly, whether you can't open files or pop ups etc? It might not be a virus, but install malwarebytes (www.malwarebytes.org/) run full scan in safe mode. That fixes most viruses, malwares, spywares and such.
