Damaged Nexus 5 - Is it worth trying to fix?

So my girlfriend accidentally closed her Nexus 5 in her car door. The phone has a slight bend in it about a third of the way down from the top. The screen is not cracked, but there is some discoloration on the screen where the phone is bent and it doesn't register any input from the touchscreen on the top half of the screen. If you try to bend it back, the screen starts to work a little bit, but it is hit or miss. I am wondering if replacing the screen will fix the phone? What are the chances that there is something more serious broken inside the phone?

Thank you.

This is iFixit. Of course it's worth trying to fix it. You can follow the teardown guide and see how much is broken. From your description, sounds like a lot has been damaged. You might end up replacing much of the internals. You up for that? ;)
